Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd day:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on-site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon journey to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd day:
Morning journey continues to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Journey continues to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th day:
Morning after breakfast visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.

Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th day:
Breakfast. Afterwards you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, which are distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness room that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Accommodation

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same facilities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which first opened in April 2024, impresses with its modern bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach and thus offers the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty makes it easier to enter the deeper water. The airport of Marsa Alam is about 90 kilometers away from the hotel.

Facilities

The Schauinsland-Reisen-Original hotel was built in an elegant bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites distributed over several buildings. The complex has a reception with seating and an associated outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis pool), as well as an island and kids pool (all pools are heatable in winter). The restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à-la-carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico", which serves as an international à-la-carte restaurant until the evening and as an Italian à-la-carte restaurant in the evening. All à-la-carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults-only, offer a selection of drinks. In addition, the holiday resort has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a miniclub, and various shops.

The modern furnished rooms (DSU, approx. 40 m²) are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, seating area, and balcony.

Family Suite

The rooms (2FS) have the same facility elements as the Double Room Superior, but are larger (approx. 50 m²) and consist of two bedrooms, separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds), and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace.

Junior Suite

With the same facilities as the Double Room Superior, but more spacious (JS2, approx. 55 m²) and with a living area.
Also bookable for single use (1YZ).

Executive Suite

Also bookable as a swim-up room with direct access to the sharing pool (EXG).

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 80 m² and consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed as well as a sitting area. With otherwise similar facility features, the rooms additionally have a balcony with a jacuzzi and a view of the sea.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea as well as various freshly squeezed juices (7 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.), lunch (1 p.m. - 3 p.m.), and dinner (7 p.m. - 10 p.m.) in buffet form. As required, the following à-la-carte restaurants are also included without restriction (depending on availability with prior reservation): "Basilico" (12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. international cuisine, 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Italian cuisine) as well as "Manzoku", which is open from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar", coffee, tea, and cake are offered daily from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. A midnight snack is available to guests from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Boscage Restaurant.
