Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, sightseeing of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1, 2, 3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1, 2, 3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continuing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.

After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1, 2, 3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1, 2, 3).
Afterward, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approximately 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Saver cabins

The saver cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Single cabin

With the same amenities as the standard cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The modern and stylish JAZ Elite Maraya is located in a fantastic position right on the sea, in the idyllic Madinat Coraya. Here, you will spend a relaxing holiday where recreation and family fun are easily balanced. The sandy beach in the elongated bay is just a few minutes' walk away (beach section of the adjacent hotel JAZ Solaya). The distance to Marsa Alam airport is only approx. 5 km.

The "JAZ Elite Maraya" hotel complex was completely rebuilt in 2018/19 and opened for the 2019 summer season.
The modern hotel in a stylish ambiance with a total of 202 rooms offers a great variety of activities for families with children, making it perfect for a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday in Egypt.
Children can have fun in the large Splash-Kids pool with fun water games and an octopus slide, build sandcastles on the sand playground, or spend adventurous hours in the beautiful Kidsclub. To let off steam, they can go climbing or play soccer on the large outdoor playground.
In the family area, parents and children can rest together and recharge their energy. A main pool (heatable in winter) is available to all guests there. International and local cuisine is offered in the main restaurant in varied buffets. For the little guests, there is a kids' buffet. A special culinary highlight is a visit to one of the three specialty restaurants, "Nino's" and "Sofra" for lovers of Italian and oriental cuisine, and "MoMo" for lovers of Asian cuisine (subject to availability and with prior reservation).

Superior family room

The superior family rooms (DF2) feature the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, but are larger (approx. 52 m²) and include a living/sleeping area for the children as well as a bedroom for the parents separated by a door.
Also bookable as a Superior family room on the sea side (FY2) or with pool view (FUP).

Katta family room

With similar features to the family rooms, but decorated in the popular Katta style (KWF), these rooms make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms have 2 rooms with a connecting door to the parents' bedroom and are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.
Also bookable as Katta family room on the sea side (KWS) for an extra charge, or as Katta Superior family room with pool view (KPW).

Deluxe family room

The deluxe family rooms (2DF) have the same amenities as the Superior family rooms but are even more spacious (63 m²) and additionally equipped with a cozy seating area.
Also bookable with pool view (FPD), sea view (F2D), or on the sea side (FXD).

Katta deluxe family room

With similar features to the deluxe family rooms, but decorated in the popular Katta style (KWD), these rooms make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.

Deluxe family room Type A

Same amenities as the Deluxe family room, but bookable with 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults, 2 children, and one baby. The 3rd child will then sleep in the parents' bed or in a baby cot. (ADF)
Alternatively, also bookable on the sea side (FXA).

Katta's deluxe family room Type A (KWA)

With the same amenities as the Katta's deluxe family rooms, but bookable with 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults, 2 children, and one baby. The 3rd child will then sleep in the parents' bed or in a baby cot.
Alternatively, also bookable with pool view (AKP) or on the sea side (FDA).

Family junior suite with sea view

With the same amenities as the deluxe family rooms (2FJ, approx. 86 m²), the suite features a private pool and sea view.

With the same amenities as the Superior double, but larger (KSM, approx. 86m²) and decorated in the popular Katta style, these rooms make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms are equipped with a bunk bed for the children. The rooms feature a private pool.

Breakfast from 7-10 AM, lunch from 12:30-2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30-9 PM buffet-style in the main restaurant with a dedicated children's corner for the little ones and various theme nights. Dinner at the à-la-carte restaurant "Sea Horse" (advance reservation required) or Dine Around (1x per stay included) at the Italian or oriental restaurant (subject to availability and with prior reservation).
