Travel information

Combined package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day earlier, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise hotel stays are dependent on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.

Continue from Esna.

The sprawling resort is located directly on its own sand/shingle beach (bathing shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam airport.
Due to the gently sloping beach, you have the option for a relaxing beach holiday. On the other hand, the long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can discover the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

Facilities

The large, newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The comfortably and charmingly furnished complex features a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan" oriental, "Soprano Restaurant" international cuisine), an à la carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants, various bars, and a café, The Bakery.
In the spacious outdoor area, there are 12 swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two can be heated in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partially heated in winter) offers fun for all ages.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, pads, and towels are free of charge at the pool and beach.

The modern Superior double rooms (DSU, approx. 42-45 m²) are equipped with a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), electric kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.

Royal Suite Swim Up pool view

The Royal Suites (SWP) are approx. 105 m² and feature bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water included), safe, electric kettle, telephone (for a fee), TV, and terrace with direct access to the communal swim-up pool. The rooms have two bedrooms.
(Additional allotment bookable under RMFA49 as Royal Suite Type B (RZ3)).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, a minimum age of 6 years applies for children for bookings of these room types at schauinsland-reisen.

Deluxe double rooms (RMFA49)

The Deluxe double rooms are similar in size and facilities to the double rooms (DD2). Also bookable with pool view (DBP) and sea view (DDM).

Deluxe bungalow sea view (RMFA49)

The Deluxe bungalows have a size of approx. 35 m² and are equipped with air conditioning, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, flat-screen TV, balcony or terrace, and have a sea view (2BM).
