Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as a pre-overnight stay is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Cabin single occupancy

The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened for the first time in April 2024, impresses with its modern bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the beautiful hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach, offering perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates entry into deeper water. Marsa Alam airport is about 90 kilometers away from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel was built in a refined bohemian style and features 203 rooms and suites distributed across various buildings. The complex features a reception with seating areas and an associated outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis pool), and an island and kids pool (all pools are heatable in winter). The restaurants include, among others, the Boscage restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à-la-carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which is run as an international à-la-carte restaurant until evening and as an Italian à-la-carte restaurant in the evening. All à-la-carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of them adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort has a spa area, a gym, a beauty salon, a miniclub, and various shops.

The rooms (2FS) have the same features as the superior double rooms but are larger (approx. 50 m²) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with shower and a terrace.

Junior suite

Same facilities as the superior double rooms, but more spacious (JS2, approx. 55 m²) and with a living area.

Executive suite

Anjum Jacuzzi suite sea view

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 80 m² and consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a lounge area. In addition to otherwise similar features, the rooms have a balcony with a Jacuzzi and a view of the sea.

Upon request, the following à-la-carte restaurants are also unlimitedly included for you (subject to availability with prior reservation): "Basilico" (12:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. international cuisine, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Italian cuisine) as well as "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. and offers Asian cuisine.
