Travel information

Combo package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. excursion by hot air balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak Temple as well as the Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Afterwards, continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

The True Beach Resort, which consists of the sub-areas "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), opened its doors for the first time in December 2023. The resort, designed in an Arabian boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam and lies on a stunning stretch of coast with a sheltered bay with crystal-clear water directly on the beach. Offshore corals invite you to snorkel (swimming shoes recommended). Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

This schauinsland-reisen original hotel was built in a classy Bohemian style, paired with modern Arabian accents, thus offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sub-areas, the "True Beach Resort", which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444) as an adult-only area, which can be booked from age 16. The complex has a total of 158 rooms distributed across both areas and offers a spacious reception area with a lobby bar, "True Lobby Bar," with seating inside and outside. The resort area has two spacious pools as well as a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (one of which is heatable in winter). An island in the main pool, reachable via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for adults and children alike. A children's pool as well as a children's splash pool with various water games are located next to the mini-club and the adjacent playground with a sun sail. The main restaurant "El Manzil" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form; in addition, the fish restaurant "Ritsa" located on the beach is included once per stay. The three à-la-carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (Asian fusion), as well as "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the village area and are for a fee (adult only, reservation required). Furthermore, the complex features a pool bar "Maya", a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available, for a fee), a theater that offers various entertainment programs in the evening, a beach bar, as well as various shops and a hairdresser and spa area. The village area is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that lead through the entire complex, as well as an infinity pool that offers a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heatable). In the middle of the pool landscape, you will find a pool bar "Scarab Bar" as well as the oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge. Two further bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" bar directly on the beach, are available in the village area. Guests of the village area are permitted to use both areas, but not the other way around.
