Travel information

Combo package consisting of an MS Lady Carol Nile cruise and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always utilized.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The stay before and after the cruise at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor temples (1, 2, 3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1, 2, 3) and visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.

The True Beach Resort, which consists of the sections „True Beach Resort“ (bookable under RMF333, fully renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), opened its doors for the first time in December 2023. The complex, designed in the Arabic boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam and lies on a stunning stretch of coastline with an offshore bay with crystal-clear water in the first row on the beach. Offshore coral invites you to go snorkeling. The Marsa Alam airport is located about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen Original hotel was built in a noble Bohemian style, paired with modern Arabic accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sections, the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" as an adults-only area, which can be booked from age 16. The complex has a total of 158 rooms, which are distributed across both sections, and offers a spacious entrance area with reception as well as a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating in the indoor and outdoor areas (located in the resort). On the first floor of the lobby is a rooftop bar "Sama Bar." The village area of the resort (adults-only) is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that lead through the entire complex and are at the same time the pools of the swim-up rooms, as well as an infinity pool that offers a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, the pool bar "Scarab Bar" as well as the oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge await you. Guests of the village section also have access to a Greek restaurant "ILIOS" as well as an Asian restaurant "NORI," both located on the beach. On the beach, the "ILIOS Bar" and "Salt Bar" await guests. Furthermore, guests of the village section have access to the main restaurant "El Manzil" as well as the fish restaurant "Ritsa" (both located in the resort area). The resort area has two spacious pools as well as a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (main pool heated in winter). An island in the main pool, reachable via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. Furthermore, the complex has the pool bar "Maya," a theater that offers various entertainment programs in the evening, as well as various shops and a hairdresser and spa area. Guests of the village section may use both sections, but not vice versa. Loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are included at the pool and on the beach.

Alternatively, guests can also enjoy a daily à-la-carte breakfast in the village area (adults only) in the Greek restaurant.
Snacks are offered from 10:30 AM – 5 PM in the outdoor area. Tea time from 3 PM – 4 PM with cake and fine pastries in the lobby bar.
