Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the Nile Majestic Dahabiya and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be taken.

Day 1
Arrival and embarkation
Rest of the day at your leisure, including meals and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2
 Early in the morning, you have the option for a hot air balloon ride.
 Breakfast followed by a visit to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3).
Return to the boat for lunch. Tea time during the cruise.
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay on an island near Luxor.
Day 3
 Continue sailing to Edfu. Breakfast and lunch during the cruise.
 Visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3), then continue sailing to Ramady Island.
Dinner, followed by entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 4
In the morning, continue sailing from Ramady Island to Bassaw Island.
Upon arrival at Bassaw Island, enjoy a one-hour walk through green fields and discover the traditional life of the locals.
Breakfast on board during the onward journey.
Arrival in Kom Ombo with an optional visit to the unusual double temple of Sobek and Horus (1,2,3).
 Back on board, lunch is served during the cruise to Hor Diab Island.
Upon arrival at Hor Diab Island, there's an opportunity for swimming in the Nile.
Dinner on board with entertainment and overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 5
Breakfast followed by an optional visit to the High Dam and Philae Temple (1,2,3), then a Felucca ride (1,2,3) on the Nile
as well as an optional visit to a Nubian village (3).

Optional participation in the Sound and Light show at Philae Temple (starts at 7:00 PM).
Dinner, entertainment and overnight stay.
Day 6
 Optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel with included breakfast box (2,3)
Breakfast on board for guests not taking the Abu Simbel excursion.
 Lunch and subsequent tea time during the return journey to Esna (approx. 14-hour cruise)
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay in Esna.
Day 7
 Breakfast and lunch on board, sailing from Esna to Luxor (approx. 6-hour cruise)
 Arrival in Luxor, visit to the East Bank: Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3), city tour and visit to the oriental bazaar.
 Optional excursion to the Luxor Museum (3).
Dinner, entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 8
Breakfast on board and departure.

The Nile Majestic Dahabiya is a 58m long ship with two upper decks and a sun deck. All cabins offer direct Nile views.
The design combines pharaonic elegance with classic style – inspired by antiquity up to the era of King Farouk. The ship has 16 cabins spread across two decks. Onboard, you will find an elegant buffet restaurant, cozy relaxation areas such as a reading corner, and a spacious sun deck with a pool and a comfortable bar.

The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for its turtle population and has a house reef ideal for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday resort is about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at Port Ghalib harbor (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the resort. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very attractive, elegant design and was conceived very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay and features a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area has a large pool landscape that winds through the resort. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area and on the private beach section. Bath and beach towels are already provided in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex features a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Double room Superior

The friendly furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) have a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. Also bookable as single use (K1), with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU).

Double room Superior guaranteed top floor sea view

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also bookable for single use (MSE).

Double room Premium Swim-up

The Double Premium Swim-up rooms (DWP) are bookable as Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms and have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms, but with direct access to the shared pool. The rooms also feature the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, additional 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, the à la carte restaurants are only included once).

Double room Deluxe

The Double Deluxe (DD2) rooms, with the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms, are larger (approx. 56m²) and, due to their layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area), are suitable for families. Optionally also bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and have a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also feature a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² and, with the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms, have a king-size bed and a dining area. Furthermore, the rooms have a spacious terrace with access to a private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea view.

Double room Superior Premium (RMFA45)

While otherwise having the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner (7-10 PM) in buffet style. A late riser breakfast is also available from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. Additionally, two à la carte restaurants are available to guests (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (except for Teppanyaki), but are then subject to a charge: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. A tea time is offered from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. Various bars offer refreshments and snacks throughout the day, such as "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.
Men must wear long trousers and appropriate footwear; no muscle shirts/tank tops or shorts of any length.
While shorts are acceptable for women at dinner, hot pants and very short shorts are not.
