Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.

A balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Sailing to Edfu in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread across three decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and generously designed reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also offers ample loungers for relaxation, as well as a generously designed pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks are available for a fee.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with belly dancers, Galabeya parties, folklore shows, and a night disco.

Pickalbatros Villaggio Resort Portofino

Location

The extensive resort is located directly on the hotel's own sand/pebble beach (beach shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam Airport.
Due to the gently sloping beach, you have the opportunity for a relaxing beach holiday. On the other hand, the long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can get to know the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

The large, newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The comfortably and charmingly furnished complex has a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan" - Oriental, "Soprano Restaurant" - International cuisine), an à la carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" - Seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants and various bars and a cafe, The Bakery. In the spacious outdoor area, there are 12 swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two can be heated in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partly heated in winter) offers fun for young and old. Sun loungers, umbrellas, cushions, and towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. Guests of the "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).
