Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The stay before and after the cruise in the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening trip to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.

Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are furnished like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

The modern and stylish JAZ Elite Maraya is in a dream location right by the sea, in the idyllic Madinat Coraya. Here you will spend a relaxing holiday where recreation and family fun are easily balanced. The sandy beach in the long swimming bay is just a few minutes' walk away (beach section of the adjacent hotel JAZ Solaya). The distance to Marsa Alam airport is only approx. 5 km.

The "JAZ Elite Maraya" hotel complex was completely newly built in 2018/19 and opened for the 2019 summer season.
The modern hotel in a stylish ambiance with a total of 202 rooms offers a variety of activities for families with children, making it perfect for a relaxing holiday in Egypt.
Children can enjoy themselves in the large Splash Kids pool with fun water games and an octopus slide, build sandcastles in the sandpit, or spend eventful hours in the beautiful Kids Club. For letting off steam, there is a large outdoor playground for climbing or playing soccer.
In the family area, parents and children can rest together and recharge their energy. A main pool (heatable in winter) is available to all guests. International and local cuisine is offered in the main restaurant in varied buffets. For young guests, there is a kids' buffet. A special culinary highlight is a visit to one of the three specialty restaurants "Nino's" and "Sofra" for lovers of Italian and oriental cuisine, as well as "MoMo" for lovers of Asian cuisine (subject to availability and with prior reservation).

Superior Family Room

The Superior Family Rooms (DF2) have the same features as the Superior Doubles, but are larger (approx. 52 m²) and include a living/sleeping area for the children and a separate bedroom for the parents separated by a door.
Also bookable as Superior Family Room on the sea side (FY2) or with pool view (FUP).

Katta Family Room

With similar features as the family rooms, but furnished in the popular Katta style (KWF), these rooms will make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms have 2 rooms with a connecting door in the parents' bedroom and are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.
Also bookable as Katta Family Room on the sea side (KWS) for an extra charge or as Katta Family Room Superior with pool view (KPW).

Deluxe Family Room

The Deluxe Family Rooms (2DF) have the same amenities as the Superior Family Rooms, but are even more spacious (63 m²) and additionally equipped with a cozy seating area.
Also bookable with pool view (FPD), sea view (F2D), or on the sea side (FXD).

Katta Deluxe Family Room

With similar amenities as the Deluxe Family Rooms, but furnished in the popular Katta style (KWD), these rooms will make children's hearts beat faster. The Katta rooms are equipped with a bunk bed for the children.

Deluxe Family Room Type A

Same amenities as the Deluxe Family Room, but bookable for 2 adults and 3 children or 2 adults, 2 children, and a baby. The 3rd child will then sleep in the parents' bed or in a baby cot. (ADF)

Katta Deluxe Family Room Type A (KWA)
