Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Lunch on board. Afterward, continue to Edfu.

The newly opened JAZ Amara resort (opened December 2023) is situated on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the first beach row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly known for its turtle habitat and has a house reef that invites you to snorkel and dive. Your holiday domicile is about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. You will find various shopping opportunities with bars and restaurants at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites that are spread across the entire property. Among them are various superior and deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, noble design and was designed very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay, and features a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area has a large pool landscape that runs through the property. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heatable in winter). Sun loungers and parasols are available to guests free of charge in the pool area as well as on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious gym on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are at your disposal.

The comfortably furnished Superior double rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with either a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. Double Superior Premium Room

Double Superior Room Sea View Guaranteed Top Floor

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen-Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior double rooms and feature a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be located on the top floor of the hotel, thus offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Double Superior Swim-up Advantage Room

The Superior Swim-up double rooms (DWP) feature the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also have the following exclusive amenities from Schauinsland-Reisen:

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe double rooms (DD2), with the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, are larger (approx. 56m²) and are suitable for families due to the layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Optionally also bookable with partial sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.

Royal Suite

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (07-10 AM), lunch (12:30-02:30 PM), and dinner (07-10 PM) in buffet form. A late-riser breakfast is also available there from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. In addition, guests have access to two à la carte restaurants (reservation required), which are included three times per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but are for a fee thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes such as sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine-dining cuisine. A tea time is offered from 12:30 PM to 05 PM.
