Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival Day and the embarkation Day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon flight is possible (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, travel to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, travel to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship travels on to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

Accommodation

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins, distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and are otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.
Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot drinks. For lunch and dinner, two soft drinks as well as a small bottle of water per person are included.

The beautiful resort of the renowned Three Corners hotel chain is located on the first beach line, directly on an approx. 1 km long sandy beach with its own offshore house reef. Enjoy the sun of Egypt on the fine sandy beach or discover the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea while snorkeling. A more than 350 m long jetty offers easy access to the sea and the pristine areas of the coral reef. In approx. 2 km distance is "Port Ghalib", a small port town with some shopping and entertainment options as well as a harbor promenade that invites you to stroll. The Marsa Alam airport is only approx. 10 km away.

Accommodation

The Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort complex consists of a large and friendly designed main building and several one- and two-story annexes with a total of 495 rooms. In the main building, there is a spacious lobby with a reception. A selection of culinary specialties is offered by the main restaurant "Panorama" with a view of the pool, the Belgian à la carte restaurant "Chez Pascal" (for a fee), the Italian à la carte restaurant "Dolce Vita", and the oriental "Marhaba Restaurant" (reservation required), as well as various bars. The hotel's offer is complemented by a bazaar, a pharmacy, and a hairdresser.
In the spacious garden, there are two swimming pools (heatable in winter), one of which has a separate children's pool. In the newly built part of the complex is the "Dolphin Pool" with the "Dolphin Bar". At the hotel's private beach and at the pools, bath towels, sun loungers, and parasols are available free of charge.

The comfortably furnished premium rooms (PDZ) with twin beds or a kingsize bed (approx. 28 m²) feature shower/WC, air conditioning, safe, telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer, mini-fridge (contents for a fee), and a balcony or terrace. The premium rooms feature garden, pool, or partial sea view.
Also bookable for single occupancy (PEZ) for an extra charge.

Family room

The family rooms (DF2) consist of one room (approx. 32 m²), which can be separated into two sleeping areas by a sliding door, with the same amenities as the premium rooms. Further amenities, besides air conditioning, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, and mini-fridge (contents for a fee), include a bathroom with WC/shower. The rooms are at ground level in the main building and have a garden or mountain view and feature a terrace.

Double room Premium Grand (RMFA05):

The double rooms Premium Grand (bookable from winter 25) are approx. 32 m² and feature a sliding door, so the room can be divided into two separate sleeping areas. Additionally, these rooms are located on the ground floor (GD2).
