Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding always takes place on Thursdays. In the morning, continue sailing to Kom Ombo.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner available. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship has a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

The resort of the renowned Steigenberger chain is located in a quiet area, directly on the gently sloping, hotel-owned sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a fantastic holiday destination that offers ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious adults only (bookable for ages 16 and up) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms has a warm and oriental ambiance. The facilities include a welcoming lobby with a reception, so you feel comfortable from the first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. For culinary variety, there is a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean cuisine), and various bars. Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around: per stay, one visit to the Italian à la carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" Restaurant, or the oriental "Zaytoun" is included for All Inclusive guests (reservation required). In the outdoor area, there are 3 swimming pools (one of which is heated) and a pool/beach bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge at the hotel's own beach and by the pools.

The Double Deluxe rooms (DD2) have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms but are slightly larger (approx. 34 sqm) and equipped with additional sofa beds. Available at an extra charge with pool view (PDD) or sea view (DDM). (Additionally bookable under RMFA04 (2DD).)

Double Room Superior Sea View Guaranteed Upper Floors

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original rooms (XO2) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea. Also bookable for single use (XO1).

Breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, all buffet style. During the day, various snacks are available for in-between hunger. Afternoon tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cake from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, and ice cream from 10 AM to 5 PM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and fresh juice from 10 AM to midnight. "Pharao Club" guests receive one dinner in an à la carte restaurant per stay (in "Fayruz"), reservation required.
