Travel information

Combo product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3. Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Morning after breakfast visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

7. Day:

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modern outside cabins distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Let us pamper you with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same facilities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and potentially have no French balcony and no seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The JAZ Lamaya Hotel is located in a slightly elevated position above the beach bay of Madinat Coraya. The beautiful intact house reef with corals that partly reach to the shore offers ideal conditions for snorkeling and diving. The access to the sea is about 150 m away from the hotel. A jetty leads directly from the hotel into the water. Numerous shops, bars, and a beautiful promenade are located in the idyllic harbour town of Port Ghalib. The distance to Port Ghalib as well as to Marsa Alam Airport is about 8 km.

Facilities

This hotel complex was specifically designed for a relaxing family holiday. The very elegant and spacious resort was built in a Moorish-Oriental style and has a total of 389 rooms, distributed across a main building and several two- and three-story residential buildings. The hotel features a stylish lobby with a reception and seating areas, a main restaurant with a non-smoking zone, a hairdresser, several shops, a bar, and an amphitheatre. In the expansive outdoor area, there is a generously laid-out pool landscape with four swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) with a separate children's pool (heated in winter), a hangout area, and a beach/pool bar, as well as a new food court on the beach with snacks, drinks, and desserts.
