Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon flight is possible (optionally bookable on site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon journey to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins, spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a front desk. Indulge in culinary delights at the main restaurant and enjoy refreshing drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small gym that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sundeck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The welcoming suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also available for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) feature the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise feature the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise identical features as the suites and may not have a French balcony or seating area, but feature a non-opening window instead.

The JAZ Solaya is located in the beautiful Madinat Coraya in Marsa Alam. The region is one of the most beautiful on the coast of the Red Sea. Madinat Coraya Bay is a dreamlike holiday destination which offers ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. Madinat Coraya has one of the few bays on the coast that has easy access to the water. In the beautiful harbor town of Port Ghalib, which is approx. 8 km away, the promenade invites you to stroll with its restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel complex is approx. 5 km from Marsa Alam Airport and approx. 70 km from Marsa Alam city center.

The beautiful hotel features 307 comfortably furnished rooms and offers a spacious lobby with a reception. Two buffet restaurants, three à-la-carte restaurants, as well as a snack bar take care of the culinary well-being of the guests. There are also several shops on the complex. In the beautifully designed and well-maintained outdoor area, there are three swimming pools (two of which are heated) and a children's pool.
