Jaz Elite Amara Resort

The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the front row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly known for its resident turtles and has a house reef ideal for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday accommodation is about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the Port Ghalib harbor (about 5 kilometers away).

Facilities

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites distributed throughout the complex. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and Swim-Up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very appealing, elegant design and has been generously conceived. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay, and features a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area boasts a large pool landscape that winds through the resort. There are seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area as well as on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already provided in the rooms. The complex also has a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Adjacent is the hotel's Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Superior Double Room

The friendly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with either a king-size bed or two twin beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Also bookable with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also bookable for single use respectively.

Superior Double Room with guaranteed sea view top floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and offer sea views. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering breathtaking views of the Red Sea. Also bookable for single use (MSE).

Premium Swim-up Double Room

The Premium Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) are bookable as schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms and have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to the shared pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also offer the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and assorted Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, the à la carte restaurants are included only once).

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2), with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, are larger (approx. 56m²) and, due to their setup (a king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area), are suitable for families. Optionally also available with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as Swim-Up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool. The rooms are on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² and, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also have a spacious terrace with access to the private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea view.

Superior Double Room Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner (7-10 PM) in buffet style. A late riser's breakfast is also available from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. In addition, two à la carte restaurants are available to guests (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but thereafter for a fee: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or teppanyaki. The "Bay View" à la carte restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. Tea time is served from 12:30 PM to 5 PM.
