Location

The True Beach Resort, comprising the "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), first opened its doors in December 2023. The resort, designed in an Arabic boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam on a fantastic stretch of coastline with a bay featuring crystal-clear water, directly on the beach. The offshore coral reefs are ideal for snorkeling (swimming shoes recommended). Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel has been built in an elegant Bohemian style combined with modern Arabic accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star resort consists of two sections: "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444), an adults-only area for guests aged 16 and over. The resort has a total of 158 rooms spread across both sections, featuring a spacious reception area with a front desk and a "True Lobby Bar" with indoor and outdoor seating. The resort area offers two large pools and a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (one of which is heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, provides chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a splash pool with various water features are located next to the kids' club and the adjacent playground with a sunshade. The main restaurant "El Manzil" serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Additionally, the beachfront fish restaurant "Ritsa" is included once per stay. The three à la carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (Asian fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the Village area and are available for a fee (adults only, reservations required). The resort also features a pool bar "Maya," a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available for a fee), a theater offering various evening entertainment programs, a beach bar, several shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. The Village area is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that wind through the entire complex, as well as an infinity pool with views of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, you'll find a pool bar "Scarab Bar," the oriental restaurant "El Tawla," and a chaise lounge. Two more bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS Bar," are directly on the beach in the Village area. Guests of the Village area can use both sections, but not vice versa. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool and on the beach.

The brightly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (stocked with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water on arrival, water refilled daily), kettle, and safe, a seating area, and a terrace. They are approximately 47 sq m. Also available as Type I (DSI) with the same amenities, limited availability, and special price. Can also be booked for single occupancy (DEU). Optionally available with partial sea view (D2S/S1S) or direct sea view (DMU/EMU, as Type I DMI). Available as swim-up rooms under RMF444.

Superior Double Room Sea View Upgrade

In addition to the amenities of the Superior Double Rooms Sea View, this room (UMB) offers the following:

They are approximately 47 sq m. The rooms are located in the sections by the beach and offer pool and partial sea views.

The Family Rooms (DF2) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (stocked with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water on arrival, water refilled daily), kettle, and safe, a seating area, and a balcony or terrace. They are approximately 47 sq m. These rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed (maximum two children).

Young Traveler Room

The Young Traveler Rooms (YST) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and are available for young adults aged 18-29. Limited availability and special price.

Family Suite

Main restaurant "El Manzil" in buffet style in the resort area for breakfast (7-10 AM, times may vary depending on season), late risers' breakfast (10-11 AM, times may vary depending on season), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM, times may vary depending on season), and dinner (6:30-9:30 PM winter season, 7-10 PM summer season). Snacks are available at the pool bar from 11:30 AM to 5 PM. Tea time with cake and pastries is served in the resort area's lobby bar from 3 PM to 4 PM. Once per stay, the seafood à la carte restaurant "Ritsa" is included (reservations required; depending on occupancy, the restaurant may not be open daily). Upon request, the following à la carte restaurants in the Village area can be visited for a fee (reservations required): Greek restaurant "ILIOS," Oriental restaurant "El Tawla," and Asian fusion restaurant "NORI" (two of the restaurants are open depending on the day of the week, from 7 PM to 10 PM, opening hours may vary depending on season). The following bars are available: "True Lobby Bar," "Maya" pool bar, "Sama Bar" rooftop bar. Opening hours vary by bar. Local alcoholic beverages are included from 10 AM to midnight, and non-alcoholic beverages from 6 AM to midnight. A midnight snack is offered after midnight.
The minibar is stocked with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water upon arrival. Water is refilled daily.
