Location

The luxurious hotel complex is located right in the heart of Port Ghalib and is only approx. 200 m away from the beautiful sandy beach. An offshore coral reef offers guests a great opportunity for snorkeling and diving. Entry into the crystal-clear water of the Red Sea is made easier by a long jetty. The marina with various restaurants and bars is just a few minutes' walk away. Marsa Alam International Airport is only approx. 5 km away.

The luxurious hotel complex, built in an Arabian style, has 426 modern rooms and is equipped with a spacious reception area. Six restaurants (two with international cuisine and one with Italian cuisine) as well as six bars and a food court cater to your physical well-being. The spacious spa area invites you to relax and unwind. The beautifully landscaped and expansive outdoor area features a pool and a separate children's pool (partially heatable in winter). In addition, the resort offers a large saltwater lagoon that stretches throughout the entire complex. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are available to guests at the pool and on the beach free of charge.
The resort includes the largest heated water park in Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam (in the immediate vicinity, included). The new aqua park offers 8 water slides for adults and 13 slides for children, providing fun for all age groups. In addition, there are two large heated pools with comfortable sun loungers so that you can relax between slides. The aqua park is exclusively available to guests of the Pickalbatros Palace, Pickalbatros Sands, and Pickalbatros Oasis Port Ghalib hotels. The park is open from May to October from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., and from November to April from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., ensuring guests have plenty of time to make the most of their visit and create lasting memories.
Guests of the "Pickalbatros The Palace Port Ghalib" are permitted to use the adjacent facilities of the "Pickalbatros Oasis Port Ghalib" (RMF073) and the "Pickalbatros Sands Port Ghalib" (RMF072). This does not apply vice versa.

The double rooms (D, approx. 35 m²) are furnished in an oriental style and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (daily refill with water), air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), Wi-Fi, TV, and a balcony, terrace, or French balcony.
Also bookable with sea view (DM), lagoon view (L2Z), and marina view (MV2) as well as for single occupancy (DE/DEM/L2Z/MV1).

The family rooms with connecting door (FAV) consist of 2 double rooms with a connecting door and a shared entrance door.

Dinner can be taken in either the Italian or one of the international restaurants. Alternatively, guests can use the restaurants at the Pickalbatros Sands and Pickalbatros Oasis.
