Location

The friendly resort is located in the heart of Port Ghalib, directly on the private and extensive sandy beach on the Red Sea. The picturesque coast with the hotel's own jetty and the large house reef with its colorful underwater world offer the best conditions for snorkeling and diving. The modern marina of Port Ghalib is just a short walk from the resort and offers various shopping opportunities as well as restaurants and bars. Marsa Alam Airport is approx. 5 km away.

Facilities

Elegant hotel lounge with red armchairs, round tables, and decorative wooden ceiling.
The large hotel complex forms a common hotel area with its sister hotel "Albatros Oasis Port Ghalib" (RMF073). The "Albatros Sands Port Ghalib" has 319 rooms, spread across a main building and several outbuildings. Guests are welcomed in a spacious lobby with a reception. The complex offers a total of five restaurants: the buffet restaurant "Souq El Hana" with international cuisine, the "Cardamom Beach Restaurant" with Mediterranean specialties, "Soprano" with Italian cuisine, the "Lagoon Restaurant", and the "Tagine Restaurant". The culinary offerings are complemented by a total of six bars located throughout the grounds.
In the spacious and beautifully landscaped outdoor area, there is a huge pool (heated in winter), a children's pool, and a saltwater lagoon. For extra fun in the water, there is a lazy river and two water slides.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge for guests at the pool and on the beach.
The new Aqua Park offers 8 water slides for adults and 13 slides for children, providing fun for all age groups. Additionally, there are two large, heated pools with comfortable sun loungers, allowing guests to enjoy the Aqua Park in any weather. The Aqua Park is exclusively available to guests of the Pickalbatros Palace, Sand, and Oasis Port Ghalib hotels. The park is open from May to October from 10 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 7 PM, and from November to April from 10 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 4:30 PM, giving guests ample time to make the most of their visit and create lasting memories.

The friendly furnished double rooms (D) are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), safe, telephone, coffee and tea making facilities, and a balcony or terrace.

Dinner can be enjoyed in one of the five restaurants.
Snacks are offered in the afternoon from 12 PM to 5 PM.
