Lage

The Chateau St. Cloud is idyllically located in the island's interior, directly at the foot of the mountain "Nid d’Aigle". The picturesque beaches are about a 5-minute bike ride or a 15-minute walk away. Shops can be reached in just under a 10-minute walk. The transfer is from the airport on Mahé in about 20 minutes to the port, from there by ferry to the island of La Digue (approx. 2 hours with a stopover on Praslin) and then about a 10-minute drive from the port to the hotel.

The charming chateau, an old vanilla plantation, has a total of 24 rooms spread throughout the complex. Facilities include a reception, a small souvenir shop, and a bar. Culinary delights are served in the restaurant. In the tropical garden, the swimming pool with sun terrace invites you to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, Suns and bath towels are available free of charge by the pool.

For your international inbound and outbound flights to/from Mahé, please observe the ferry times for hotel bookings on the neighboring islands (e.g., Praslin/La Digue). If you arrive after 1 p.m. or depart before 12 p.m., a transfer to/from Praslin/La Digue cannot be guaranteed. In case of arrival/departure outside the above-mentioned times due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration, our local agency will arrange an overnight stay in Mahé for you. Should your booked flight times fall outside the above-mentioned periods, please book an overnight stay in Mahé through your travel agency.
