The AHG Dream's Bay Boutique Hotel is an adults-only hotel located in Matemwe, a fishing village on the northeast coast of Zanzibar. The white sandy beach meets the pristine waters of the Indian Ocean, offering the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday combined with cultural discoveries. The nearest international airport is Abeid Amani Karume International Airport in Stone Town, just 50 km from the hotel (approx. 75-minute transfer).

The charming, small adults-only hotel features 24 well-equipped and spacious rooms in African style, a small reception, free Wi-Fi, a spa area, a freshwater swimming pool, a restaurant, and a bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge.

The cozy double rooms are partially furnished in the African "Swahili" style as well as in a modern style and feature air conditioning, a fan, a mosquito net, tea and coffee making facilities, a safe (for a fee), a hairdryer, a minibar (for a fee), and satellite TV. The rooms are located on the ground floor or the first floor. Rooms with sea view (on higher floors) or seafront (in the section closest to the sea) can be booked at an additional charge.

The lack of authorization is not due to specific safety problems with the individual airlines, but rather to the inspection and safety procedures of the Tanzanian aviation authority, which do not currently meet the safety requirements of the EU.
However, the airlines that we use for domestic flights (for example, for transfer flights from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania) are subject to the international safety assessment ISSA of the IATA (International Air Transport Association) or a comparable safety assessment. These assessments correspond to the globally recognised safety standards of the aviation industry.
