The beautiful and spacious complex (formerly Doubletree by Hilton) features 98 well-equipped rooms, a reception, 2 restaurants (Ngalawa, Fisherman's Grill) and 3 bars (Pool Bar, Beach Bar and Fisherman's Bar), an outdoor pool with a swim-up bar, and various small shops. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the complex. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are included at the beach and by the pool.

These nicely furnished rooms have a balcony or terrace, queen or twin beds, a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, ceiling fan, coffee/tea set, minibar, safe, iron and ironing board, LED TV, and air conditioning. The lack of authorisation is not due to specific safety problems with the individual airlines, but rather to the inspection and safety procedures of the Tanzanian aviation authority, which do not currently meet the safety requirements of the EU.
However, the airlines that we use for domestic flights (for example, for transfer flights from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania) are subject to the international safety assessment ISSA of the IATA (International Air Transport Association) or a comparable safety assessment. These assessments correspond to the globally recognised safety standards of the aviation industry.
