Location

The Essque Salu Zanzibar is a small boutique hotel nestled in a natural bay on the northeast coast of Unguja. It is situated between the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean on one side and lush green forest on the other. The distance to the airport is approx. 68 km.

Facilities

The Essque Zalu Zanzibar hotel features 48 individual suites and villas, all offering picturesque views of the lush tropical garden or the turquoise sea. The hotel does not have a beach; access to the sea is possible via stairs from the jetty or from the pool. The Superior Garden Suites feature the same amenities as the Garden Suites but are located on the upper floor of the two-story bungalows (2ZS/SU1).

Sea View Suite

The Sea View Suites feature the same amenities as the Garden Suites but offer partial sea views and a private garden (S2M/S1M).

However, the airlines that we use for domestic flights (for example, for transfer flights from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania) are subject to the international safety assessment ISSA of the IATA (International Air Transport Association) or a comparable safety assessment. These assessments correspond to the globally recognised safety standards of the aviation industry.
