Location

The 5-star Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar is an exclusive luxury resort perched on the high plateau of the Al Hajar Mountains in Oman.

The modern Premier Canyon View rooms (PD2/PD1), designed in warm natural tones, are approximately 60 m² and feature a bathroom with a bathtub and separate rain shower, bathrobes and slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, minibar, satellite TV, coffee machine, Wi-Fi, and a furnished balcony with canyon views.
The rooms are located on the ground floor.

The Deluxe Canyon View rooms (DD2/DD1) have the same size and amenities as the Premier Canyon View rooms.

Local Customs and Etiquette:
Omanis are known for their warmth and hospitality. Visitors should respect local customs by dressing modestly, especially at religious sites. Public displays of affection are generally avoided, and loud or disruptive behavior is discouraged.
Photography and Drones:
Always ask for permission before photographing people. Avoid taking pictures of government buildings and military sites. Flying drones without a license is illegal.
Alcohol and E-cigarettes:
Alcohol can be purchased and consumed at licensed venues such as hotels and restaurants, with the legal drinking age being 21. Visitors may also purchase at the airport duty-free. Public intoxication is prohibited. E-cigarettes are illegal in Oman.

Seasonal information

During the fasting month of Ramadan, there may be restrictions in hotel operations. Furthermore, hotels use this time for maintenance and minor renovations, during which disturbances such as pool closures, etc., may occur. Additionally, some restaurants may be closed as meals are not served everywhere.
The entertainment program at the hotel is canceled or limited.
During Ramadan, eating, drinking, and smoking in public places are not permitted.
