Location

The hotel is situated on a 1 km long private sandy beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Oman, nestled between the Hajar Mountains and the Gulf of Oman.
It is just a short drive from the city center and attractions such as Mutrah Souk, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, and the National Museum of Oman. It offers spectacular views of the Gulf of Oman and is surrounded by lush gardens.

The hotel, often referred to as the "Jewel of the Sultanate," was originally built as a royal palace. It features 250 rooms and suites. The Deluxe Double Rooms Resort View (DPB/DPE) have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms Mountain View, but with views of the magnificent gardens and pool area.

Deluxe Double Room Lagoon Access

The Deluxe Double Rooms Lagoon Access (LA2/LA1) have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms Mountain View, but with a terrace and direct access to the pools.
Please note that your booked room offers direct access to a shared pool and there is no dedicated lifeguard.
If booking with children or non-swimmers, you are responsible for supervision.

Destination information

Local customs and etiquette:
Omanis are known for their warmth and hospitality. Visitors should respect local customs by dressing conservatively, especially at religious sites. Public displays of affection are generally avoided, and loud or disruptive behavior is discouraged.
Photography and drones:
Always ask for permission before photographing people. Avoid taking photos of government buildings and military sites. Flying drones without a license is illegal.
Alcohol and e-cigarettes:
Alcohol can be purchased and consumed at licensed venues such as hotels and restaurants, with the legal drinking age being 21. Visitors may also purchase at airport duty-free. Public intoxication is prohibited. E-cigarettes are illegal in Oman.

Seasonal information

During the fasting month of Ramadan, there may be restrictions in hotel operations. Additionally, hotels use this time for maintenance and minor renovation work, during which disruptions such as pool closures may occur. Furthermore, some restaurants may be closed as meals are not served everywhere.
The entertainment program at the hotel will be canceled or limited.
During Ramadan, eating, drinking, and smoking in public places are not permitted.
