Location

Facilities

The Jumeirah Muscat Bay hotel, newly opened in 2022, features 195 rooms, all offering a modern Arabian atmosphere. Furthermore, the hotel offers three swimming pools in its well-maintained outdoor area.
With a total of five establishments, it provides a variety of superb restaurants with breathtaking views and exceptional cuisine. The "Peridot" restaurant impresses with international cuisine and show cooking, while the "Zuka" restaurant by the pool serves delicacies as well as fresh juices and cocktails. At the "Brezza" restaurant, Mediterranean cuisine is combined with Italian cuisine. The restaurant also features a rooftop bar, where shisha is offered, among other things. The "Tarini Lounge," where guests can enjoy tea and small delicacies, is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The "Anzo Bar," with its cozy terrace and view over the bay, offers international signature cocktails and Asian appetizers.

The Deluxe Double Rooms Sea View with Balcony (OD2/OD1) have the same size and amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms Garden View. With balcony and sea view.

Ocean Club Double Room Balcony (formerly Premium Club Double Room)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Resort Deluxe Double Rooms, the Ocean Club Double Rooms Balcony (2OC/1OC) are equipped with a terrace or a balcony with sea view. In addition, guests of this room category have exclusive access to the Premium Lounge (10 a.m. - 8 p.m.).

One Bedroom Family Suite (formerly Family Suite Sea View)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Resort Deluxe Double Rooms, the One Bedroom Family Suites (OBO/OOS) are equipped with a large balcony and sea view. Furthermore, these rooms have a separate living room with bathroom and a dining area (approx. 98-102 m²). In addition, guests of this room category enjoy exclusive access to the Premium Lounge (10 a.m. - 8 p.m.).

One Bedroom Panoramic Suite

The One Bedroom Panoramic Suites (CDP/CEP) are approx. 98-104 m² and feature, with otherwise the same amenities as the One Bedroom Family Suite, an additional sea view. Guests of these room categories have exclusive access to the Premium Lounge (10 a.m. - 8 p.m.).

Destination information

Local customs and etiquette:
Omanis are known for their warmth and hospitality. Visitors should respect local customs by dressing conservatively, especially at religious sites. Public displays of affection are generally avoided, and loud or disruptive behavior is discouraged.
Photography and drones:
Always ask for permission before photographing people. Avoid taking photos of government buildings and military sites. Flying drones without a license is illegal.
Alcohol and e-cigarettes:
Alcohol can be purchased and consumed in licensed places such as hotels and restaurants, with the legal minimum age for alcohol consumption being 21. It is also possible for visitors to shop at the airport's duty-free. Public intoxication is prohibited. E-cigarettes are illegal in Oman.

Seasonal information

During the fasting month of Ramadan, there may be restrictions in hotel operations. Furthermore, hotels use this time for maintenance and minor renovation work, during which impairments such as pool closures etc. may occur. Furthermore, some restaurants may be closed, as meals are not served everywhere.
The entertainment program at the hotel is cancelled or limited.
During Ramadan, eating, drinking, and smoking in public places is not permitted.

Entry requirements

German citizens can enter Oman visa-free for up to 14 days. For entry into Oman, a passport valid for at least 6 months after arrival is required, as well as a return flight ticket, a confirmed hotel reservation, health insurance, and sufficient financial means for the stay.
