Location

The resort is located in Kedewatan near Ubud. It offers a magnificent view of the Ayung River valley and is situated approximately 3 km from Ubud. Furthermore, the resort is easily accessible from the airport, and the journey to other major areas of Bali is quick, such as the trip to Denpasar, which takes about 35 minutes, and to the airport, which takes around 45 minutes.

Situated on a hillside with breathtaking views of the Ayung River, this villa resort with 75 residential units was built in Balinese style. Local conditions were preserved, and the resort was harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape. Culinary delights are provided by a total of four restaurants and the hotel's own herb and vegetable garden featuring the finest ingredients. The "Terrace Bali" restaurant is located on the 1st floor and treats guests to local specialties. The "Ayung Valley" restaurant serves international dishes and offers a fantastic view of the surroundings. The "Ayung Garden" open-air restaurant is located in a special setting right by the river. If you would like to end the evening in a relaxed manner, the "Dewata Lounge" on the upper deck is the perfect place to enjoy the tranquility. There are a total of three swimming pools in the expansive tropical garden. Sun loungers, pool towels, and parasols are available at no extra charge.

The stylishly furnished villas are approx. 340 m² in size (including the outdoor area). They feature a separate living room with a sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, satellite TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea making facilities, as well as a private outdoor area with an incomparable view of the valley, private pool, sun loungers, and an outdoor shower. (PVD/PVE).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential hazard for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Restrictions due to the Balinese holiday Nyepi

The "Nyepi Day", also known as the "Day of Silence", is the most important holiday on Bali.
During this time (24 hours), strict rules apply, which severely restrict tourism.
The date is determined annually according to the lunar calendar and usually takes place in March.
On the Day of Silence, arrival and departure are not possible; the airport is also closed.
