Location

The resort is located on the eastern outer reef of the North Ari Atoll and is only approx. 300 x 150 m in size. The house reef is approx. 20-40 m from the beach. The transfer time from Male International Airport is approx. 90 minutes by speedboat. Transfer information Sandies Bathala, Speedboat: Operates for arrivals until 3 PM/departures after 10 AM. Transfer by seaplane (approx. 20 minutes) can be booked for an additional charge.

Facilities

The small, simply furnished barefoot island, which is equally popular with divers and snorkelers, features 70 rooms, including 46 beach bungalows and 24 water villas, spread across the entire island. The resort also has a reception, a boutique, a buffet restaurant with international cuisine, an à la carte dinner on the beach "The Beach Grill" with various grilled dishes, and an island bar. Sun loungers and beach towels are available free of charge on the beach and by the pool.

Beach Bungalow

The bright rooms feature a bathroom with double vanity, open-air shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, ceiling fan, telephone, safe, mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, and a furnished veranda with direct access to the beach (SBZ).

Water Villa

The Water Villas are built on stilts over the sea and, with the same amenities as the Beach Bungalows, also feature a furnished terrace with direct sea access (W2V).

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet-style at the "Island Gallery" restaurant. Afternoon American coffee/tea and snacks at the main restaurant. Selected local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10 AM to midnight at the bar. A selection of cocktails and spirits are served from 6 PM at the beach bar. Snorkeling equipment and guided tours to the house reef are included.

Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic (Domestic Flight): Operates estimated for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates expected for arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1-2 intermediate landings on seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather or long waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) as well as currently mostly domestic flights are only operated during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on site (approx. USD 5 per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered later by boat.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two Queen/King-size beds. For a room occupied by 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may be only 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Accordingly, if 2 adults + 1 or 2 children share a room, one child may have to sleep in the parents' bed.
