Location

The small island of Dhigufaru (approx. 35,000 m²) is located approximately 140 km north of Malé in the Baa Atoll. Designated by UNESCO as the first biosphere reserve in the Maldives, it boasts some of the richest reef systems in the world, making this an ideal location for diving. Transfer is by domestic flight (approx. 20 minutes) followed by a further boat transfer (approx. 30 minutes). A seaplane transfer (approx. 45 minutes) can be booked for an additional charge.

This spacious barefoot island features 83 villas distributed across the island and over the lagoon. Amenities include a reception with comfortable seating and a hair salon. Dining options include the "Dhandifulhu" buffet restaurant, which serves international cuisine and has its own bar; the overwater "The Muraka Fine Dining" restaurant, offering Maldivian and international delicacies; and the "Athiri Grill" on the beach, serving various fish and meat specialties from the grill in a casual atmosphere. Additionally, the "Thundi Pool Bar and Café" offers bistro-style light bites, and the "Raagudi" Bar provides the largest selection of whisky and champagne in the Maldives. Sun loungers, beach towels, and parasols are provided free of charge.

The modern Water Villas are approx. 74 m² in size, built on stilts over the ocean, and offer views of the sunrise.
They feature a bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, WC, bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning, safe, minibar (for a fee), telephone, LED TV, and a veranda with a table, chairs, sun loungers, and direct access to the sea. (2WV).

Beach Villa Pool

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be a total of 1 or 2 large beds available.
