Location

The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort is situated in the dreamlike Baa Atoll of the Maldives and offers a luxurious experience amidst tropical nature. Surrounded by crystal-clear water and colorful coral reefs, the resort is a true paradise for beach lovers and those seeking relaxation. The transfer takes place via a domestic flight (approx. 25 min.) followed by a speedboat (approx. 20 min.). A seaplane transfer (approx. 30 min.) can be booked for an additional charge.

The modern and elegantly designed resort features a total of 69 villas on land and over the water, which offer impressive views of the Indian Ocean. Amenities include an open-plan lobby with a reception, a library, and a variety of restaurants catering to every taste. At "The Pearl," you can enjoy Japanese cuisine in an elegant setting over the water. "Island Kitchen" serves international and local dishes with a healthy twist. "Hawker" offers Asian street food specialties, and at the "Sunset Bar," you can enjoy exotic cocktails and the picturesque sunset. The large infinity pool is located at the "Island Kitchen" restaurant with a view of the sea. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are provided free of charge.

Beach Villa Pool

The spacious villas (approx. 140 m²) are inviting, light-flooded rooms and feature a bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes/slippers, air conditioning, telephone, flat-screen TV, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, safe, furnished terrace, and a private pool (VPZ).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Deluxe Beach Villa Pool

With the same features but more spacious (approx. 164 m²) and with an additional sofa bed (V2H).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Water Villa with Pool

The Water Villa with Pool is built on stilts over the sea and offers a generous 194 m², a living area with additional sleeping options, a separate bedroom (sliding door), and an 8m-long private pool on the furnished terrace, as well as direct access to the sea (WVP).

Family Beach Pool Villa

With the same features and size as the Beach Villa Pool, the Family Beach Pool Villa features an additional double bed (FBV).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Breakfast buffet at "Island Kitchen," lunch as a set menu at "Island Kitchen." Dinner in buffet style at "Island Kitchen." Lunch and dinner can alternatively be taken as a set menu in selected restaurants. Selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the open bars and during meals. Minibar included (wine/champagne/liqueur excluded; refilled every 4 days).
The "The Pearl" restaurant is included once every 3 days; additional visits are for a fee (a credit of 70 USD per adult and 35 USD per child is granted here).

In addition to AI: breakfast and lunch can optionally be served in the villa. Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers during the seaplane transfer.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. This excludes changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times during entry (in these cases, our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) as well as currently most domestic flights are only carried out during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be a total of 1 or 2 large beds available. Accordingly, it may happen that when 2 adults + 1 or 2 children stay in a room, a child must sleep in the parents' bed.
