Location

The 4-star hotel Dreamland The Unique Sea & Lake Resort is located in the picturesque Baa Atoll. The house reef is approximately 100 m away. The transfer time from Male airport is approximately 20 minutes by domestic flight followed by a 10-minute speedboat ride. Transfers via seaplane are also available for an additional charge.

The resort feels truly dreamlike, with a snow-white sandy beach and uniquely pristine vegetation. It comprises a total of 90 rooms located both on land and on stilts over the lagoon. The facilities at this paradisiacal retreat include an open-air lobby with reception and comfortable seating areas, a library, and a boutique. Two restaurants, the Lakeview Restaurant and the Seaview Restaurant, both offering international cuisine, as well as two bars, provide for your culinary needs. In the center of the island, surrounded by palm trees and mangroves, the unique 1,600 m² freshwater lake covered with water lilies invites guests to enjoy a relaxing swim. Sun loungers and beach towels are provided free of charge on the island.

Beach Bungalow

The beach bungalows are 78 m² in size and feature a bathroom with a bathtub, shower/WC, separate outdoor shower, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, mini-refrigerator, tea/coffee maker, a furnished terrace, and sea view (SBZ/SEB/RSB).

Water Bungalow

With the same amenities and size, these bungalows are built directly over the sea on stilts, with direct sea access (2WB/3WB).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types.

Meals

HP/VP/HP+/AI

If half board is booked, breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style. If full board is booked, lunch is included in addition. If half board + is booked, guests receive breakfast and dinner in buffet style and, in addition, a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks between 8:00 a.m. and midnight.
Additionally, with HP+, guests receive one complimentary half-day snorkeling excursion or snorkel equipment per person/stay.

All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet-style. Afternoon tea, coffee, and snacks. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, juices, house wine, mocktails, and cocktails by the glass at the respective open bar from 8:00 a.m. to midnight.
In addition to the All Inclusive plan, guests receive complimentary snorkel equipment and one half-day snorkeling excursion per person/stay.

Seaplane flights, most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), and currently most domestic flights are operated only during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
