Location

The island, newly opened in 2017, is located in the Dhaalu Atoll. Male Airport is approximately 150 km away. The transfer takes about 30 minutes by domestic flight from Velana International Airport, followed by an approximately 20-minute speedboat ride. Transfer by seaplane takes about 40 minutes and is available upon request and for a fee.

Facilities

This modern resort with 266 rooms blends into the island's natural vegetation. On-site amenities include a reception with comfortable seating, two souvenir shops, and a photo studio. Across the expansive island, a total of ten restaurants cater to your culinary needs. The "Flavour Zest" restaurant, designed in the style of a market hall, offers a variety of stalls with international dishes. At the "Sea Dragon" restaurant, you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine, while the "Azure," located directly on the beach, serves Mediterranean dishes. The stylish "Deli" prepares fresh snacks, and delicious grilled specialties await you at "Smoked." Furthermore, you can enjoy refreshing cocktails at the "Breeze" pool bar, and "Aroma" café serves fresh juices as well as Asian and Maldivian-inspired treats. Two additional bars, a beach club, another café, two swimming pool complexes, and an art studio round off the offering. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Sky Studio

The modern Sky Studios (approx. 55 m², in buildings with 4 units each) are located directly on the beach on the first floor. They feature a shower/WC, bathrobe/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), TV, telephone, pull-out sofa bed, furnished balcony, and sea view. (SY2) Also bookable as a Promo Room with limited availability (SYS).

Beach Villa Jacuzzi

The detached Jacuzzi Beach Villas (approx. 97 m²) feature the same amenities plus a semi-open bathroom with a free-standing bathtub, shower/WC, and a Jacuzzi. (2JV)
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types for children.

Aqua Villa

The Aqua Villas (approx. 73 m²) are detached, built on stilts over the water, and offer a bathroom with a free-standing bathtub, separate shower/WC, and an additional sun deck with direct access to the sea. (AVZ)

Rich breakfast buffet in the "Flavour Zest" restaurant. With booked Half Board Plus, dinner is included, and with booked Full Board Plus, lunch and dinner are included. During meals, soft drinks, juices, water, as well as coffee and tea are included with all meal plans.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1–2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration (in such cases, our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) as well as currently most domestic flights are only carried out during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
