Location

The tropical resort is approximately 250 x 800 m in size and is located in the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll. The transfer time from the airport in Male is approximately 55 minutes by domestic flight followed by a 10-minute speedboat ride. Guests of the Amari receive complimentary access to the airport lounge with snacks and beverages during their arrival between the international and domestic flight.

Amenities

The hotel complex features 120 villas, 60 of which are located directly on the west or east beach, and 60 overwater on stilts. Amenities include a reception area, a souvenir shop, a sports field, and an emergency clinic. Dining options include the main restaurant "Amaya Food Gallery" with buffet and live cooking stations, the à la carte restaurant "Ember Grill" (reservation recommended) offering international grilled dishes, vegetarian options, fish and meat, as well as the Sunset Bar "Iru", the pizza kiosk "Kaage", and the "Thari" pool bar, which is open until late in the evening by the large swimming pool with a separate children's pool right on the beach. Sun loungers, beach towels, and parasols are provided free of charge.

Sunrise Beach Villa

The spacious Beach Villas are approx. 95 m² (including outdoor area) and feature a semi-open bathroom with a bathtub, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee making facilities, safe, daybed, and a private terrace. The rooms are on the sunrise side (SV2).
Also bookable on the sunset side. (S2V)

Beach Villa Private Pool

Equipped with the same amenities as the standard villas, these feature a private pool in a small garden. The rooms are 121 m² (including outdoor area) (VPZ).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Sunset Beach Pool Villa

Equipped with the same amenities as the standard villas, these feature a private pool on the terrace facing the beach and are located on the sunset side. The rooms are 121 m² (including outdoor area) (V2S).
Also bookable on the sunrise side (V2X).

Water Villa

The Water Villa has the same features as the Deluxe Beach Villa, covering 77 m², but without the daybed, and is built on stilts over the water with a terrace and direct access to the sea (W2V).

Deluxe Sunrise Beach Villa (bookable from 1.11.26)

With the same amenities as the Sunrise Beach Villas, the Deluxe Sunrise Beach Villas are renovated and modernized. Furthermore, these are located on the sunrise side (D2V). Also bookable as Deluxe Sunset Beach Villa (2NX) on the sunset side.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the form of rich buffets. With Half Board and Full Board, à la carte dinner is available for approx. 40 USD (excluding beverages). Beverages such as water, tea, and coffee are only included when booking breakfast or Premium All Inclusive. Beverage packages can be added.

In addition to full board, unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (including cocktails and mocktails), selected red/white and rose wines and sparkling wine (by the glass), draft beer, selected spirits by the glass, selected juices, soft drinks, coffee/tea are available from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the restaurants and the currently open bar. Daily replenishment of the minibar (2x beer, 2x Cola, 2x Cola Light, 1x Fanta, 1x wine (red or white)).

Premium All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the form of rich buffets at the "REEF" restaurant. A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is available from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. at the currently open bar. Minibar is partially included (2x beer, 2x Cola, 2x Diet Cola, 1x Fanta, and 1x house wine).
Starting winter 2025: Guests can choose three additional services or use the same additional service up to three times during their stay as part of the Premium All Inclusive (PAI) package. This includes, for example, a 60-minute spa treatment, breakfast in bed experience, sunset cruise, etc. Further information can be requested via email.
