Location

The Ayada Resort is located on the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, on the southern island of Maguhdhuvaa. It is just 30 km from the equator. The island is surrounded by an untouched underwater landscape, and the house reef offers perfect conditions for snorkeling and diving. The transfer time by domestic flight to Kaadhedhoo Airport is approx. 55 minutes, followed by another 50 minutes by speedboat.

Facilities

Spread across the island, amidst the breathtaking natural landscape, are 122 luxuriously furnished villas. The Ayada does not have a reception area or front desk, as all guests check in directly at their villas. Amenities include a boutique, a jeweler, a hair salon, and a souvenir shop. Five restaurants serving national and international dishes, as well as three bars, cater to guests' culinary needs. The main restaurant "Magu" offers daily changing buffets of international cuisine. "Ocean Breeze" serves modern European dishes and seafood. The "Zero Degree" restaurant is located by the infinity pool and offers fresh salads and Asian dishes. "Sea Salt" offers an outdoor BBQ dinner twice a week, and at "Mizu," fish, meat, and vegetarian dishes are prepared live. Sushi and sashimi made from local fish are prepared and served at the "Kai" restaurant. The "Ile de Joie" bar is located directly over the water and features a selection of international wines and various cheeses. The infinity pool with a view of the Indian Ocean is located in the tropical garden area, where sun umbrellas, loungers with pads, and bath towels are available free of charge.

Accommodation

Garden Villa

The Garden Villa is located directly in the tropical garden, offering a perfect retreat. The villa features a shower/WC, bathrobe/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, TV, telephone, and terrace (GV2).

Beach Villa with Pool

With the same features as the Garden Villa, but with a private pool and just a few steps from the beach (VPZ).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children. For this reason, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types for safety reasons.

Ocean Villa with Pool

The Ocean Villa is situated on stilts directly over the water and features the same amenities, including a private infinity pool (OP2).

Speedboat: Operations scheduled for arrivals/departures between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM // Domestic (internal flight): Operations scheduled for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM // Seaplane: Operations scheduled for arrivals/departures between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1–2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. This excludes changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times upon entry (in these cases, our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island), as well as currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.
