Location

The Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa is located on the pristine, crescent-shaped island of Dhonakulhi in the north of the Maldives. More than one kilometer of white sandy beach stretches along both sides of the island, bordered by a turquoise lagoon. The house reef is about 10-30 meters away. Over 40 fantastic and untouched dive sites can be reached within 5-60 minutes. The high-quality resort is accessible in approx. 45 minutes by domestic flight from Hulhule airport island to Hanimadhoo airport, followed by a speed boat transfer of approx. 25 minutes. Available for an additional charge by direct seaplane transfer (approx. 75 minutes).

The resort is a tropical paradise, surrounded by a kilometer-long dreamy white beach and covered in lush tropical vegetation with coconut and banana trees. The complex features a total of 110 luxurious villas, two swimming pools with a pool bar, and a boutique. Culinary needs are catered for by the "Matheefaru" restaurant with a magnificent view of the sunset and international cuisine, the "Meeru" pool bar with snacks and a large selection of chilled drinks, and the "Samsara" restaurant featuring Thai, Japanese, and Indian cuisine. The "Sunset Pool Café-Beach Club" additionally offers further snacks and drinks with a breathtaking view of the sea.

The villas are approx. 130 m² (including outdoor area), located on the beach, and feature a semi-open bathroom with a separate shower, whirlpool, toilet, a separate living and sleeping area with teak flooring, king-size bed, walk-in closet, terrace including sun loungers with a view of the beach, living area with an integrated daybed, satellite TV with DVD player, and surround system. Deluxe Water with Villa

Otherwise identical in features, these are approx. 190 m² (including outdoor area) in size, built on stilts over the lagoon, and feature an enclosed bathroom as well as a private whirlpool and a 30 m² pool. (2DW/EDW)

Beach Residence Plunge Pool

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers during seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Excluded are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times during immigration (in this case, our local agency will take care of any necessary overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island) as well as currently most domestic flights are only carried out during the day. It may therefore be necessary to spend an overnight stay in Malé.
