Location

The resort is located southeast of the Lhaviyani Atoll on the island of Thilamaafushi. The 9-hectare island features a unique flora and fauna. The transfer time from the airport is 35 minutes by seaplane.

The resort features a total of 134 villas. Facilities include a 24-hour reception and a souvenir shop. Culinary needs are catered to by a total of six different restaurants and bars, including "Tabemasu" with traditional Japanese cuisine, the "Waves" Cafe, or the "La Vie Bar" (ages 18+) with sunset views. There are two swimming pools in total, one of which is an adults-only pool. Umbrellas, sun loungers with pads, and pool towels are available free of charge at the swimming pools and on the beach.

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas are approx. 82m² and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, minibar (some items for a fee), safe, coffee/tea maker, and a terrace with seating (2BV). Optionally bookable with a private pool as a Beach Pool Villa (VPZ).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types.

Sunrise Water Villa

The villas are approx. 100m² and, in addition to the same amenities as the Beach Villas, feature a bathtub, a hammock directly over the water, and direct access to the sea (2OR). Bookable on the sunset side for an additional charge (2OT).

Lagoon Villa

With the same amenities and size as the Sunrise Ocean Villa, the Lagoon Villas are located directly in the first row on the beach and feature direct beach access. The hammock is positioned over the beach (LV2).

Breakfast in buffet form at the Turquoise Restaurant. With half-board, additionally includes dinner in buffet form at the Turquoise, or as a set menu at the Velaa Bar+Grill Restaurant.
With full-board, additionally includes lunch or dinner in buffet form at the Turquoise, or as a set menu at the Velaa Bar+Grill or at the Riviera Tapas (adults-only) Restaurant. Additionally, daily replenishment of non-alcoholic drinks and snacks in the minibar. Designated drinks are included during meals.

Speedboat: Expected operation for arrivals/departures from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM // Domestic flight: Expected operation for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM // Seaplane: Expected operation for arrivals/departures from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1–2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or longer waiting times at immigration (in which case our local agency will arrange for a possible overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island), as well as most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.
