Location

The resort is located southeast of the Lhaviyani Atoll on the island of Ookolhufinolhu. The island features unique flora and fauna. The transfer time from the airport is approx. 30 minutes by seaplane.

Facilities

This modern resort with Italian design has a total of 150 rooms. Amenities include a lobby with reception and seating areas, as well as a library, a boutique, and a nightclub. Three restaurants and two bars provide for your culinary needs. These include the "Octopus" restaurant with international cuisine, the "Japanese Garden" restaurant with Teppanyaki grill, and the "Manta" overwater restaurant. In addition, the resort features a well-maintained pool. Sun loungers and beach towels are available on the island free of charge.

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas are approx. 50 m² and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, ceiling fan, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a furnished terrace with direct beach access. (2BV)

Lagoon Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Villas, the Lagoon Villas are approx. 65 m² in size, built on stilts over the water, and offer direct access to the sea (LV2).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential danger for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types. (LV2)

Beach Suite

The Beach Suite has the same amenities as the Beach Villas but is larger (approx. 70 m²) and additionally features a safe (BS2). Also available with a private pool for an extra charge (KR2).

Lagoon Suite with Slide

With the same amenities as the Lagoon Villa, the Lagoon Suite is larger (approx. 75 m²) and additionally features a bathtub and a safe. Available upon request with a slide (DL2) or a private pool (V2B).

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Afternoon snacks, cake, tea, and coffee from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages such as water, soft drinks, juices, beer, house wine, cocktails, and mocktails from 10:00 AM to midnight at the respective open bar. Daily refilling of the minibar with selected beverages (water, soft drinks, beer, and wine). Additionally, the use of non-motorized water sports (canoe, stand-up paddle, diving equipment such as fins and snorkel) is included.

Sports included

Fitness room, yoga, aerobics, beach volleyball, billiards, snorkeling.

Sports for a fee

Diving school, windsurfing, sailing, and motorized water sports.

Children's program

The Kids Club offers alternating activities for children aged 3 to 12, such as treasure hunts, kids' pool parties, or mini-olympics. Additionally, the Kids Club features an indoor playground and a children's pool. Babysitting service upon request and for a fee.

The "Cube" Spa offers various massages and treatments for a fee.

Speedboat: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM // Domestic flight: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers for seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or longer waiting times at immigration (in such cases, our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).
The luggage limit for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered later by boat.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it may be that only 1 or 2 large beds are available in total. Accordingly, it can happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child must sleep in the parents' bed! An extra bed cannot be guaranteed in advance and is subject to availability on-site.
