Location

The Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa is located in the North Male Atoll on the island of Furanafushi, which is 800 m long and 300 m wide and features beautiful white sandy beaches and tropical vegetation. Thanks to the short transfer times and the diverse leisure opportunities on the island, it is perfectly suited for Maldives first-timers, honeymooners, and families. Male Airport is approximately 15 minutes away by speedboat.

Facilities

The beautifully landscaped resort features a reception area with seating and various island boutiques. Dining options include the main restaurant "Feast" with international buffet specialties, the Thai restaurant "Baan Thai", the à-la-carte "Sea Salt" restaurant offering steak and fish specialties, the "Masala Hut" with Indian specialties, the "ChopstiX" with Asian specialties, and the "Kakuni Hut" beach restaurant. Cool refreshments are offered at several bars. Nestled in the lush tropical outdoor area is a freshwater pool with sun terraces.

Deluxe Room

The 28 rooms with thatched roofs (45m²) are generously appointed, located in the garden in 1-story bungalows, and shine in a new, modern design. The amenities include a bathroom with tub/shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning or ceiling fan, 40-inch LCD TV with international channels and CD player, safe, coffee/tea maker, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony or terrace with wooden furniture and a porch swing. Island Cottage

The spacious, detached Island Cottages, built in a local style, offer plenty of room at 76m². The luxurious rooms feature the same amenities as the Deluxe rooms, with the additional benefit of a semi-open bathroom with an outdoor shower and an enchanting view of the lush garden. (JCZ)

If half board is booked, dinner is additionally provided as a buffet at "Feast" or alternatively as a 3-course menu at the specialty restaurants "Anchorage", "ChopstiX", or "Masala Hut"; non-alcoholic drinks are included with meals. A surcharge applies to selected dishes and drinks. When dining at "Baan Thai" and "Sea Salt", a dinner credit of $45 per person is applied.
If full board is booked, guests receive the following services: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is served as a buffet at "Feast". For lunch, guests have the option to dine at "ChopstiX", "Anchorage", "Kakuni Hut", or "Masala Hut" (as a 3-course menu), subject to availability. Dinner is served as a buffet at "Feast", or alternatively, guests can enjoy a sumptuous 3-course menu at one of these specialty restaurants: "Anchorage", "ChopstiX", or "Masala Hut". Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
There may be 1–2 intermediate stops during seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Excluded are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration (in such cases, our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be a total of 1 or 2 large beds available. Consequently, it may happen that when staying with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child must sleep in the parents' bed.
