Location

The island of Kagi is located in the northern part of the North Malé Atoll and is approximately 200 m x 200 m in size. Due to the rich underwater world, this luxury resort is an ideal starting point for diving and snorkeling excursions. The island can be reached from the airport in about an hour by speedboat or, for an additional charge, in about 15 minutes by seaplane.

The resort, which opened in November 2020, is the ideal place for wellness enthusiasts. The resort has a total of 50 rooms with pools, built both on land and over the water. Further amenities include a lobby with reception and seating areas, as well as a souvenir shop. Culinary highlights include the "Noo Faru" restaurant with international cuisine and the "Ke-Un" specialty restaurant with Japanese/Thai cuisine. Additionally, the resort features a piano bar and the "Spa Corner". Another highlight is the infinity pool with the "Ufaa" pool bar. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are available free of charge at the beach and pool.

Beach Villa Pool

The villa features a bathroom with double vanity and shower, an outdoor bathroom with bathtub and shower, hairdryer, bathrobe/slippers, air conditioning and a ceiling fan, a seating area, a minibar (for a fee), a Nespresso machine and tea-making facilities, an IDD telephone and IPTV, a Bluetooth soundbar, an alarm clock, a safe, terrace with seating and lounge furniture, and a private pool (VPZ).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Lagoon Pool Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Pool Villa, the Lagoon Pool Villa is built over the lagoon and has direct access to the sea (B2E).

Ocean Pool Villa

The Ocean Pool Villa is built closer to the reef with the same amenities and features direct access to the sea (OPV).

Overwater Pool Villa

This stylish villa over the water features a bathroom with shower, hairdryer, bathrobe/slippers, air conditioning, ceiling fan, Wi-Fi, minibar (for a fee), coffee and tea-making facilities, safe, and a furnished sun terrace with a private plunge pool. Located directly over the lagoon, it offers immediate access to the sea and a fantastic view of the turquoise waters of the Maldives. Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island) as well as currently most domestic flights are only operated during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it may be the case that only 1 or 2 large beds are available in total. Accordingly, it may occur that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child must sleep in the parents' bed.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.
