Location

The island, approximately 750 m long and 190 m wide, is located on the eastern outer reef of the North Male Atoll and is particularly popular with families and surfers. The transfer time to the airport is approx. 30 minutes by speedboat.

Facilities

The family-friendly complex features a total of 75 villas, which are built on land or on stilts over the water. Amenities include an open reception area with a front desk and comfortable seating. Culinary needs are catered for by a total of 8 restaurants, a beach bar, and a pool bar. "The Restaurant" area includes "Fire," an American steakhouse; "Earth," serving Asian cuisine; and "Ocean," offering delicious seafood, each with a view of the beach. Another restaurant, "The Hawkers," is located by the pool. This offers Indian, Thai, and Italian cuisine in separate sections. Additionally, the new Japanese restaurant "Teppanyaki" has been opened. The swimming pool is unique in the Maldives and, at 150 m in length, is the largest of its kind. Sun loungers, bath towels, and parasols are provided free of charge.

Accommodation

Sunrise Beach Villa private Pool

The Beach Villas with private pool are approx. 152 m² in size and, with the same furnishings as the Water Villa, additionally feature a private pool (6m x 3m x 0.9m), direct beach access, an outdoor shower, and bicycles (V2X). Also bookable on the sunset side for an additional charge (V2S).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential hazard for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Sunrise Water Villa private Pool

The Water Villas with pool are approx. 182 m² in size and, with the same furnishings as the Water Villa, additionally feature a private pool (9m x 3.25m x 1.2m) (WXS). Also bookable on the sunset side for an additional charge (WXT).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential hazard for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Extensive breakfast in the main restaurant. If half-board is booked, dinner is additionally included in "Ocean," "Spice," "Earth," "Fire," or "Ocean" as a 3-course menu. (Drinks are not included.)

Daily extensive breakfast in the main restaurant, lunch in "Med," "East," or "Mar-Umi" as a three-course menu, and dinner in "Spice," "East," "Earth," "Fire," "Mar-Umi," or "Ocean," each as a three-course menu. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the currently open bar. The minibar is replenished every second day. In addition to All Inclusive for stays of at least 4 nights: one 60-minute massage per person (per stay, ages 18+), one excursion per stay (Sunset Cruise or snorkeling trip), and a combined sunset cruise (once per stay). In addition to All Inclusive for stays of at least 7 nights: one surfing lesson, one Lobster Experience (one lobster per couple), and a Cigar Lounge Experience with whiskey and rum (sommelier's selection) or chocolate pairing.
