Location

The island is located in the still almost untouched Raa Atoll and is surrounded by a dreamlike white sandy beach. The house reef is approximately 80 - 100 m away. The transfer time from Malé airport is approximately 30 minutes by domestic flight to Dharavandoo Island Airport, followed by another 40-45 minutes by speedboat. The transfer time from Malé International Airport by seaplane is approximately 45 minutes (bookable at an additional cost).

The luxury resort offers a total of 150 villas and suites, some of which are the largest villas in the country. Guests are welcomed in the open-air reception. A total of six restaurants and five bars take care of your culinary needs. Among them is the all-day dining restaurant "Ralu" with its Mediterranean cuisine. The "Ranba" awaits its guests with international and Asian cuisine. Fresh seafood is served in the "Ginfiati" and homemade pizza in the "Pizza Shack". The "Hathaa" surprises its guests with street food from Tokyo and Bangkok. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the swimming pool and on the beach. A highlight of the island is the overwater infinity pool, which can be used exclusively by guests of the Ocean Suites.

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas (approx. 88 m² including outdoor area) are lined up along the beach and feature a large bathroom with outdoor shower, bathtub/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe/slippers, air conditioning, minibar, flatscreen TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, large daybed, as well as a large sun deck that offers direct access to the beach. Beach Villa Pool

The rooms (approx. 93 m² including outdoor area) offer the same facilities as the Beach Villas, but with a larger outdoor area with a private pool and sun loungers, and also offer direct beach access. (VPZ)
Rooms with direct pool/sea access represent an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen enforces a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Ocean Villa

With the same facilities as the Beach Villas, these are built on stilts over the sea and additionally feature direct access to the sea. (There is no outdoor shower). (2OV/OQ2)

With the same facilities as the Beach Villas, these are larger (approx. 180 m²) and built on stilts over the sea. Additionally, they feature a private pool and direct access to the sea. (There is no outdoor shower). (OX2/SIM)

Premium All Inclusive

All meals can be taken in one of the six restaurants (advance booking required, meals in "Hathaa" at an extra charge). Depending on the restaurant, meals are served in buffet form or a la carte, as well as at live cooking stations. Theme nights also take place occasionally. During the day, a selection of snacks is offered by the pool. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included at the respective open bars. Daily refilling of the minibar.
Additionally, guests receive the following amenities:
- A bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival
- One introductory scuba dive (approx. 15-20 minutes) per guest/stay
- One excursion (only available on selected excursions) per person/stay

Sports included

Fitness center, tennis, snorkeling equipment (when booking AI), non-motorized water sports (only included with a minimum stay of 7 nights; kite surfing, surfing, and catamaran only for experienced users, otherwise paid lessons are offered).

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers on seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Excluded are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times upon entry (in this case, our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island), as well as currently most domestic flights, only take place during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

In the Maldives, sinks or even bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

Most rooms in the Maldives are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it may be that only 1 or 2 large beds are available in total.
