Location

The island of Dhigali (approx. 1,000 x 260 m) is located in the heart of the Raa Atoll. It is surrounded by a white, gently sloping sandy beach, which invites you for romantic walks. The transfer time from the destination airport of Male is approx. 25 minutes by domestic flight to Dharavandhoo or Ifuru Airport, followed by another 45 minutes by speedboat. The seaplane transfer (approx. 45 minutes) can be booked for an extra charge.

This trendy resort with a modern design combines luxury with a casual ambiance. The elongated island features a total of 180 residential units scattered throughout the lush garden landscape. Amenities include a reception area with seating, currency exchange, souvenir shop, a small boutique, and a game room. Dining options include 3 à-la-carte restaurants (grill dishes, Asian, Turkish, Indian, and international) as well as the main restaurant "Capers". Cool refreshments are served at 2 bars. In the well-kept, tropical garden landscape, the swimming pool area with 3 pools and a sun terrace with loungers invites you to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, parasols, and pool towels are provided free of charge.

Accommodation

Beach Bungalow

The approx. 70 m² Beach Bungalows are located in the middle of the garden and feature an open-air bathroom with a semi-open rainfall shower. The rooms also offer a wide, covered veranda with deckchairs for lounging. Facilities include a king-size bed, safe (included), a minibar (included), coffee/tea maker, LCD TV, as well as boutique bathroom amenities and bathrobes (SBZ).

Deluxe Beach Bungalow

The Deluxe Beach Bungalows are more spacious (approx. 85 m²) with the same facilities (D12).

Beach Villa

The approx. 115 m² Beach Villas feature similar equipment and additionally include a bathtub in the semi-open bathroom.

Beach Villa Pool

The approx. 121 m² Beach Villas are ideal for couples. The villas offer magnificent sea views and feature a semi-open bathroom with a rainfall shower as well as a large covered veranda. The highlight is the private pool and sun loungers (VPZ).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen applies a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Water Villa

The elegant, approx. 85 m² Water Villas are located above the sea and are just a stone's throw away from the colorful house reef. Each villa has a wooden sun deck with direct access to the sea. The bathroom is located inside the villa and features a rainfall shower as well as a bathtub (W2V).

Lagoon Villa Pool

The approx. 117 m² Lagoon Villas offer similar facilities to the Water Villa with an additional pool on the terrace (LV2).

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style at the "Capers" buffet restaurant. Lunch can optionally also be taken in the pizzeria, the café, or at "Jade". Daily changing theme buffet for dinner. Dinner optionally in one of the three specialty restaurants "Faru", "Battuta", or "Jade" (subject to availability, with reservation). Unlimited selection of 80 different premium wines and beers from all over the world, available in all restaurants and bars. Large selection of premium brand spirits. Unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, spirits, and a selection of coffee, various juices, soft drinks, and Dhigali mineral water at the respective open bar. Premium minibar, which is replenished once daily with selected beers, wines, soft drinks, spirits, Dhigali water, and snacks. The following activities are included: snorkeling equipment, non-motorized water sports, group yoga classes, and two excursions (glass-bottom boat trip and dolphin cruise).

Snorkeling equipment as well as non-motorized water sports (surfing and catamaran excluded). One excursion with the "Dolphin Boat" or "Glass Bottom Boat" during the stay (once per person and stay).

There may be 1–2 stopovers during the seaplane transfer.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Excluded are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or longer waiting times at immigration (in this case, our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island), as well as currently most domestic flights, are only operated during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
