Speedboat: Operation for expected arrival/departure from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operation for arrivals/departures from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfer, there may be 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrival/departure outside the above times, in case of bad weather or long waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Malé may have to be booked.
All flight transfers as well as most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) are only carried out during the day. Therefore, there may be an overnight stay in Malé (near the airport).
