Location

The popular barefoot island is located in the South Ari Atoll and is elongated in shape, measuring approximately 900m x 250m. The house reef, one of the most beautiful in the atoll, is ideal for diving and snorkeling. The transfer time from Malé International Airport by seaplane is approximately 25 minutes.

Facilities

Renovated in winter 2026, the resort is set amidst lush tropical vegetation and features a total of 184 villas spread across the island. Facilities include a reception area with seating, a "Vila Memories" photo studio, a business center, and a small shop. Culinary delights are provided by a total of four restaurants and four bars. These include the two main restaurants "Funama Restaurant" and "Ahima Restaurant" (Adults Only), as well as the two à-la-carte restaurants, "Faru Restaurant" specializing in fish and seafood, and the "Asian Wok Restaurant" with Asian cuisine. A relaxed atmosphere can be enjoyed at the main pool with a separate children's pool or the Adults-Only infinity pool.

Tropical Villa

The Tropical Villas offer approximately 55 m² of living space and feature a semi-open bathroom with shower, WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, telephone, safe, and a furnished terrace facing the garden (T2R).

Beachfront Villa

With the same amenities and size as the Tropical Villas, the Beachfront Villas additionally offer a private terrace in a direct beach location with sea views (H2V).

Adjacent Beachfront Villa

With identical amenities to the Beachfront Villas, the Adjacent Beachfront Villas are not detached but consist of two villas located side-by-side (ZX2).

Romantic Beachfront Villa

With the same amenities as the Beachfront Villas, the Romantic Beachfront Villas are more spacious (approx. 65 m²) and additionally feature a private bathtub (RR2, Adults only bookable from 18 years).

Romantic Ocean Villa

The Romantic Ocean Villas (approx. 85 m²), with comparable amenities to the Beachfront Villas, are located directly over the water and have private access to the lagoon (ROZ, Adults only bookable from 18 years).

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Water is included with meals.

When booking a Tropical Villa, Beachfront Villa, or Adjacent Beachfront Villa, all meals are taken in the "Funama" restaurant.
When booking a Romantic Beachfront Villa or Romantic Ocean Villa, all meals are taken in the "Ahima" Adults-Only restaurant.

All Inclusive

Breakfast (7:30 – 10:00), lunch (12:30–14:00), and dinner (19:00–21:00), served in the respective assigned restaurants in buffet style. A snack menu is served from 11:00–12:30 and 14:30–19:00 at the "Bonthi Bar" and "Sunset Bar" (Adults only). Selected local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served around the clock at the bar currently open. Daily replenishment of selected local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks in the minibar.
Additionally, guests receive per stay:
- one small bottle of champagne (per room)
- one sunset cruise
- one visit to a local island (subject to change)
- 30 minutes of group snorkeling lessons per person (without equipment)
- 30 minutes of group windsurfing lessons per person (including equipment)
- complimentary use of the fitness center, daytime use of volleyball and badminton courts, tennis and padel courts (1 hour daily), table tennis, billiards, darts, kayaking, windsurfing, and football pitches (including equipment), as well as complimentary yoga sessions at the Duniye Spa.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 intermediate stops during seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. Costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions include changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long wait times at immigration (in such cases, our local agency will take care of any necessary overnight accommodation).
All flight transfers and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) are only conducted during daylight hours. Consequently, an overnight stay in Malé (near the airport) may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it may be that only 1 or 2 large beds are available. It may therefore occur that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child must sleep in the parents' bed.
