Location

The NH Maldives Kuda Rah measures approx. 300 x 130 m and is located in the south of the Ari Atoll. The house reef is approximately 20 – 200 m away from the sandy beach. Excellent diving and snorkeling areas can be found in the vicinity. Transfer by seaplane (approx. 25 minutes).

The boutique resort with a total of 51 villas features an entrance area with reception and seating areas and a souvenir shop. Culinary needs are catered for by the buffet restaurant "Sea Spray" with international, Asian, and Indian cuisine, as well as the "Ocean" restaurant serving seafood and fresh fish. In addition, two bars and a café provide delicious snacks and cool refreshments. The island also features an infinity pool with a sun terrace. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge by the pool.

Beach Villa Private Pool

The Beach Villas (approx. 90 m²) are equipped with an outdoor bathroom with bathtub, separate rainfall shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, 43-inch LED TV, telephone, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a terrace with sun loungers. The private plunge pool borders the outdoor bathroom (VPZ).

Water Villa Private Pool

The comfortable Water Villas (approx. 118 m²), built on stilts over the water, feature the same amenities plus a private plunge pool and direct access to the sea (WVP).

Meals are offered as a rich breakfast buffet. If half board is booked, dinner is additionally provided as a buffet. If full board is booked, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in buffet form. Additionally, with full board, tea and pastries/snacks are provided in the afternoon.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more until the onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 intermediate stops for seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or longer waiting times at immigration (in this case, our local agency will take care of any necessary overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island) as well as currently mostly domestic flights are only carried out during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes/domestic flights is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on site (approx. 7 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered later by boat.

In the Maldives, sinks or even bathtubs/whirlpools can be integrated openly without spatial separation in the general living area of the hotel room.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it may be that only 1 or 2 large beds are available in total. Accordingly, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, one child must sleep in the parents' bed.
