Location

The resort is located in the South Ari Atoll and features beautiful flora and fauna with a stunning house reef, which offers excellent conditions for snorkeling. The transfer time from the airport is approx. 25 minutes by seaplane.

Facilities

This new resort features a timeless design, offering a unique ambiance perfectly tailored to guests' needs. Modern technology combined with elegant luxury can be found in a total of 76 villas spread across the entire island. Amenities include a 24-hour reception with seating areas. Several restaurants provide for the guests' culinary well-being, with a focus on "healthy food" and local produce. These include the "Soul Kitchen" restaurant with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, and the "Flames" restaurant with delicacies from the sea. Cool refreshments are served at two bars: the main bar "WINK," where you can dance to the funky beats of the DJ, and the "Solis" pool bar. In the lushly landscaped gardens, the swimming pool with its sun terrace invites you to relax and unwind. Umbrellas, sun loungers with pads, and bath towels are provided free of charge.

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas are approx. 80 m² and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, air conditioning, telephone, Apple TV, minibar (for a fee), safe, terrace with seating, and direct beach access (2BV). Can also be booked at an extra charge on the sunset side of the island (S2V).
Until Oct 31, 2026, optionally available as a Promo Beach Villa. These are the same villas, subject to limited availability.

Sunset Beach Villa Jacuzzi

The Sunset Beach Villas Jacuzzi feature the same layout and size as the Beach Villas, with the addition of a Jacuzzi, and are located on the sunset side of the island (SJV).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, at Schauinsland-Reisen, a minimum age of 6 years applies for children for bookings of these room types for safety reasons.

Water Villa

The Water Villas have the same amenities as the Beach Villas but are larger (125 m²) and additionally feature a bathtub and direct access to the lagoon (2WV).

Water Villa Jacuzzi

The Water Villas Jacuzzi feature the same amenities and size as the Water Villas, with the addition of a Jacuzzi (JW2).

Sunset Beach Villa with Pool

The Beach Villas with pool are approx. 160 m² and are located directly on the beach on the sunset side of the island.
The villas feature an open-air bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, hairdryer, bathrobes, air conditioning, telephone, flatscreen with Apple TV, minibar (for a fee), safe, and an outdoor living area. Guests also have access to a Jacuzzi and a private pool.

Full Board Plus

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet-style in the "Soul Kitchen" restaurant. Drinks (water, soft drinks, tea, and coffee) included during meals. Guests receive a 20% discount on food in the à-la-carte restaurants.

All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet-style in the "Soul Kitchen" restaurant; alternatively, dinner in the "Flames" restaurant as a set menu (reservation required). Additionally, brunch (10-11 a.m.) and afternoon tea (4-5 p.m.) at "Wink." Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the currently open bar (10 a.m. - 12 a.m.). Daily refilling of non-alcoholic and alcoholic minibar drinks. Free snorkeling equipment, kayaks, and paddleboards.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
There may be 1–2 stops during the seaplane transfer.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Exceptions apply to changes caused by flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times during immigration (in such cases, our local agency will handle any necessary overnight accommodation).
Seaplane flights, most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), and currently most domestic flights operate only during daylight hours. Consequently, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it is possible that only a total of 1 or 2 large beds are available. Consequently, when 2 adults + 1 or 2 children are in a room, a child may have to sleep in the parents' bed! An extra bed cannot be guaranteed in advance and is provided on-site subject to availability.
