Location

The Fiyavalhu Resort Maldives is located on a populated local island in the southern part of the South Ari Atoll. The resort features a private beach section with good conditions for snorkeling. The transfer time is approx. 25 minutes by domestic flight to Maamigili Island airport, followed by another 30 minutes by speedboat. From the booking date of October 1st, the transfer will be carried out by seaplane.
From January 1st, 2026, the transfer will take approx. 90 minutes by speedboat. The seaplane transfer can be booked for an extra charge.

Facilities

The 43 accommodation units are spread across the beach and the tropical garden area of the resort. Other hotel facilities include a lobby with a reception and a boutique. For dining, authentic Maldivian and international cuisine is served in the main restaurant "KOVELI". Additionally, guests can enjoy snacks and a selection of dishes all day á la carte at the "RIYA" café, as well as seafood and steaks at the "MANDHOO-GRILL" specialty restaurant. Alcoholic beverages are served at the floating "JADE" bar. Sun umbrellas, loungers, and beach towels are available free of charge at the main pool, which includes a children's area.

Garden Villa

The rooms (approx. 49 m²), built in blocks of 6 units each, feature a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, and a furnished terrace facing the garden. (GV1/GV2)

Deluxe Garden Villa

With similar facilities but larger (approx. 65 m² incl. outdoor area), detached, and featuring an outdoor rain shower, a desk, and a terrace facing the tropical garden. (D2G)

Beach Pool Villa

Similar facilities to the Deluxe Beach Villa but larger (approx. 104 m² incl. outdoor area), built in blocks of 5 units each, these rooms additionally feature an outdoor rain shower and a private pool. (VSZ/VPZ)
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types.

Premium Beach Pool Villa

Similar facilities to the Beach Pool Villa, but larger (approx. 155 m²) and detached (PBP).

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the form of extensive buffets at the main restaurant "KOVELI". In the afternoon from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., snacks and cake are served with tea & coffee at the "Riya Café". A selection of non-alcoholic beverages is served by the glass with meals as well as from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the "Riya Café". The minibar is replenished once daily with soft drinks and snacks.
Furthermore, guests staying 4 nights or more receive one excursion (night fishing/on request and subject to availability) per person. A selection of non-motorized water sports is included.
Additionally, 20% discount on selected spa treatments.

All Inclusive Plus

In addition to the All Inclusive plan, guests receive a selection of alcoholic beverages (selected cocktails, beer, house wines in red, white, and rosé, various spirits such as gin, vodka, and whiskey) at the floating "JADE" bar from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Beverages may not be taken onto the island. Kayaks and canoes included for one hour per person per stay.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers during seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions include changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or longer waiting times during entry (in which case our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it may be that only 1 or 2 large beds are available in total. Accordingly, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, one child must sleep in the parents' bed. Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island) as well as currently most domestic flights are only carried out during the day. It may therefore be necessary to stay overnight in Male.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg of hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered later by boat.
