Location

The island, approximately 200 m long and 100 m wide, is located in the northern part of the South Male Atoll. The house reef is renowned for its ideal diving spots and is situated about 20 meters away. The outer reef is approximately 50 meters away. The transfer time from the airport is about 15 minutes by speedboat.

This small luxury island is a paradise of tropical vegetation and offers a total of 50 villas. Amenities include a reception area with lobby, front desk, and souvenir shop. Culinary needs are catered to by the "Farivalhu" restaurant featuring international delicacies and the "Kithajima" restaurant serving Japanese specialties. Several bars serve cool drinks and an exquisite selection of wines. In the tastefully landscaped gardens, the infinity pool invites guests to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Overwater Pool Villa Sunrise

The elegant villas (approx. 91 m²) are built on stilts in the lagoon and face the sunrise side. Amenities include a large bathroom with glass floor and TV, rain shower/WC, whirlpool, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, DVD player, internet access, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a private sun deck with a daybed and small pool.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served as a set menu in the main restaurant. Lunch can alternatively be taken in the Japanese restaurant (subject to availability and with prior reservation). Dinner can alternatively be taken in the Japanese restaurant or the barefoot restaurant (subject to availability and with prior reservation). In the afternoon, tea, coffee, pastries, and ice cream are served. Selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from approx. 10 am to midnight. Daily refilling of the minibar with beer, wine, juice, soft drinks, mineral water, chocolate, and chips. A selected excursion is included for stays of 4 nights or more. A beach dinner and a floating breakfast are included for stays of 5 nights or more.

Speedboat: Operation for expected arrivals/departures from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operation for expected arrivals/departures from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Operation for expected arrivals/departures from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers during seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times upon entry (in these cases, our local agency will take care of any necessary overnight accommodation).

Zusatzhinweis

All flight transfers as well as most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island) are only carried out during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male (near the airport) may be necessary.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat afterward.
