Location

The approx. 800m long resort is located on the exotic island of “Emboodhu Finolhu,” situated directly in the middle of one of the largest and most impressive lagoons in the Maldives. The tropical island, with its magnificent flora and fauna, offers excellent opportunities for diving and swimming in dreamlike waters. The transfer time from the airport is approx. 15-20 minutes by speedboat.

The Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Maldives is situated on a picturesque private island and offers an exclusive and tranquil atmosphere with only 62 elegant villas. Culinarially, the hotel features several restaurants and bars. The "24 Degrees" restaurant serves Asian dishes, and "Mediterraneo by Jeffrey Vella" offers Mediterranean cuisine. Additionally, snacks and drinks are served at noon at "Mediterraneo Waterfront." Further amenities include the "Equator Bar," a library, a swimming pool and sun terrace, one of the most beautiful Maldivian spa areas, and a boutique. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge at the beach and pool.

Ocean Villa Sunrise

The Ocean Villa Sunrise are very generously furnished (approx. 71 m² including outdoor area) and built on stilts over the lagoon. Facilities include a bathroom/WC, bathrobes, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV with DVD player, telephone, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, a furnished terrace, and direct access to the sea.

With the same features and location as the Sunrise Overwater Villa, these are even more spacious (approx. 94 m² including outdoor area) and additionally feature a private plunge pool and daybed on the terrace.

Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) such as soft drinks, juices, coffee, tea, beer, house wine, spirits, as well as classic cocktails and mocktails. Daily replenished minibar with selected soft drinks, juices, snacks, and beer. Snorkeling equipment included during the stay, as well as 1 hour of daily use of a canoe, pedal boat, or stand-up paddleboard. For experienced guests, catamaran sailing and windsurfing are also possible. The all-inclusive package begins with lunch on the day of arrival and ends with breakfast on the day of departure.

Speedboat: Operation for anticipated arrival/departure from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM // Domestic (internal flight): Operation for anticipated arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM // Seaplane: Operation anticipated for arrivals/departures from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers for seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Exceptions include changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration (in such cases, our local agency will handle a possible overnight stay).

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it may be that only 1 or 2 large beds are available in total. Accordingly, it may occur that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child must sleep in the parents' bed.
