Location

The JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort is located in the South Male Atoll, a highly accessible atoll. The approximately 600m x 200m island boasts a stunning location on a private island, surrounded by crystal-clear, turquoise water and white sandy beaches. Guests of the JW Marriott Maldives can discover colorful coral reefs and rich marine life right on their doorstep. The island can be reached from the airport in about 15 minutes by speedboat.

The resort, newly opened in early 2025, offers 80 rooms and top-class luxury. In addition to the reception area, the complex features a boutique shop. A highlight is the JW Garden, where fruits, vegetables, herbs, and more are grown. The resort has a total of four restaurants and two bars. In addition to the main restaurant, which offers international dishes, guest dining is provided by the gourmet restaurant "Riva", serving Indian dishes; "Athiri", which delights with South American cuisine; and "PURE", which impresses with regional cuisine featuring produce from the on-site JW Garden.
Three large swimming pools (one of which is for adults only) round off the extensive range of amenities. Umbrellas, sun loungers with cushions, and beach towels are available free of charge at the beach and by the pools.

Overwater Pool Villa

The approx. 155 m² villas are modernly furnished and feature a king-size bed, bathroom with shower plus an additional outdoor shower, WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, TV, coffee/tea maker, minibar (for a fee), complimentary water, safe, iron, slippers, and a private pool with sun loungers (WVP).

Beach Pool Villa

With similar features, these also offer approx. 155 m² and provide direct access to the beach (VPZ). The rooms can also be booked on the sunset side for an additional charge (V2S).

Meals

BB/HB/FB

Breakfast buffet at "VEYO". With booked half-board, dinner is also included as a buffet at "VEYO". With booked full-board, lunch at "VEYO" or "WAHOO" and dinner at "VEYO" are included.
With booked half-board and full-board, guests receive a daily credit of 155 USD per adult or 77.50 USD per child for all other restaurants.

Breakfast buffet at "VEYO". Lunch as a set menu at "VEYO" or "WAHOO" restaurant. Dinner as a set dinner at "VEYO", "ATHIRI", or "RIVA" restaurant (subject to change). Selected non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages from 11 am to 11 pm at the currently open bar (water, soft drinks, juices, smoothies, coffee, tea, wine, beer, and spirits). Additionally, daily replenishment of the minibar (non-alcoholic beverages and snacks) is included. Furthermore, one snorkeling trip at the house reef (reservation required), a 30-minute photoshoot, and free use of snorkeling equipment, stand-up paddleboards, paddleboats, kayaks, and the fitness center are included.

Speedboat: Scheduled for arrivals/departures from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic flight: Scheduled for arrivals/departures from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Scheduled for arrivals/departures from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers for seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. Costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions include changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration (in which case our local agency will take care of a potential overnight stay).

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Consequently, it may happen that when 2 adults + 1 or 2 children are in a room, a child must sleep in the parents' bed.
