Location

As the hotel's name suggests, it is located directly on the edge of the jungle and on a 4 km long natural beach on the still almost untouched east coast. The distance to the port city of Trincomalee with its sights is approx. 30 km.
The transfer time from Colombo International Airport is approx. 6-7 hours.
Transfer by domestic flight (approx. 45 minutes) and a further approx. 45 minutes by bus can be booked optionally for an additional charge.

The freshly renovated Jungle Beach Hotel impresses with 49 comfortable rooms, harmoniously integrated into the existing jungle landscape. Great importance was placed on preserving the natural vegetation during construction, so the resort is naturally nestled among lush greenery, tall palm trees, and established clearings.
The reception area with its open lobby captivates with its airy architecture featuring plenty of wood and natural materials. Generous seating areas and unobstructed views of the surrounding jungle create a relaxed and authentic atmosphere right from your arrival.
Culinary variety is provided by the main restaurant, whose open design architecturally embraces the tropical surroundings. Here, traditional dishes are lovingly prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Two bars also offer refreshing drinks and light snacks in a relaxed holiday atmosphere.
In the extensive, natural garden area, which preserves the character of the original jungle, you will find the harmoniously integrated swimming pool with a sun terrace. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are available to guests free of charge, inviting them to relax amidst the tropical greenery.
